Due to the growing waiting lists of up to 4 years and lack of access to Orthodontic Services on the Island, we are offering a limited range of orthodontic treatments on an independent basis. From October 2005 we will undertake 20 cases on a first-come-first-served basis at a low cost.

Dr T.C. (Ian) Lochner is an experienced dentist, who has undertaken many orthodontic cases. However, he is not a specialist. Before coming to see him for an opinion you should check that if you are on the waiting list of a specialist orthodontist, they will not remove you from their list because you have come to speak to Ian. Should Ian prefer your teeth to be treated by the specialist it is important that we work with that specialist. Since May 2007 we are also pleased to be able to offer the services of a specialist in-house orthodontist, Patricia Webley, whose charges will be different from those below ... Dr Webley's website

If the patient attends with study models and OPG X-ray, the first consultation will be free of charge. For cases where a single removable appliance will achieve a satisfactory result the fee will be £430.

Should you not be able to bring study models or OPG our office can arrange the OPG free of charge; the exam and study models will be charged at £70.

In cases where more than one appliance may be needed, additional appliances will be charged at £70 per appliance and the patient will be informed at the start of treatment. (A fixed charge of £70 will also apply for the replacement of lost or broken appliances).

These cases will be assessed individually but a fee of £950 per arch would normally apply.

At this stage the treatment of severe skeletal class II or III cases will not be undertaken and the fee for treating adults may be higher based on individual circumstances.
